Thursday was the day - the day my son and I went back to the eye doctor for some resolution. A few weeks ago my son had his annual eye exam and would not let them dilate his eyes. So we were charged with the task of doing that at home over a three night period. I can honestly say that was no fun. Apparently he does not care who you are - no drops will make it into his eyes if he can help it. We managed to get enough of the drops into his eyes to past muster and ended up with the same prescription as last time. The best part of the day was when my son walked over to the assistant after she had walked into the room and said to her "I just wanted to tell you that you are so beautiful". It was just one of those sweet, innocent moments in life that touches your heart and I was so proud of my little man. I hope that he stays like that forever.
I have had this stitching completed for about a week, but have not been able to get an acceptable picture until now. This is Me and Thee by Jennifer over at Feathers in the Nest. I love the colors that I chose and now comes the part where I have to decide how to finish this for display. I have a pretty little black frame that this would look great in, but it would also look cute as a pillow. Decisions, decisions.
Stitched on 32 count white linen
DMC 221 and 3781
I have two more completed projects to show you, so I plan on spending today wrestling with my camera to get a few acceptable pictures to post. I also plan on catching up on my google reader if possible. Thanks for dropping by. Have a great day!

Awww, how adorable- little kids can be so sweet! Look forward to seeing the finished projects!
Too cute! I love it when they do stuff that just melts your heart with love.
Stitching looks good; pillow, go with the pillow. lol I'm just saying that because I usually finish mine in frames so....
Have a great week!
What a lovely thing for your son to say - I'll bet that meant a lot to the assistant. Sometimes don't you just want to freeze children where they are? I look forward to seeing what you do with Me and Thee. It'll look great either way.
