What Day is This?

I am losing track of time again.  It seems to happen more and more these days.  Guess it comes with being a stay-at-home mother.  I still have not adjusted to the fact that I am not working anymore.  I miss it a lot, especially the busy work and interaction with other people on a daily basis.  Right now I only have myself to keep me company throughout the day, and that is just not a good thing at times.

Anyway, I have been stitching and piddling around some.  The first picture I am posting is of my new key fob.  My son was watching the new Power Ranger Samurai show on Saturday and I threw this together to kill some time.  It is not perfect by any means, but it was meant to be that way.  Everything was cut by hand with no measuring, so I was quite surprised that it turned out as well as it did.  Amazingly it is still holding together after four days of use.   Can't beat that with a stick.

I also managed to finish stitching the last design in the Doodle Stitch Along (motif # 4 - toadstool house) and I think it turned out to be pretty cute.  Didn't take long to stitch up, that is for sure.  Now I have to put the finishing touches on all of the other motifs and take the final group picture.  I am hoping to have that done by the end of the weekend.

I hope everyone is doing well wherever you may be.  Thank you for dropping by and visiting my blog today.  I am hoping to post a few more finishes later on this week.  My schedule is packed full, but with some luck my problems with my glasses might be resolved soon.  I can dream.  Take care.  Until next time.....

Love the key fob!

I know what you mean about losing track of days etc. lol I've been doing this for almost four years now and it has gotten better.

Hope things settle down for you and the new glasses. Can they do anything to fix the problems or is it all in you adjusting to them? Mine are great; just can't seem to keep them on my face where they need to stay. lol They tend to slide down just enough where I'm constantly adjusting them.

Hope you have a great week!
